Jiu Jitsu International, India celebrates two decades of imparting the art of Jiu Jitsu to India. To Celebrate the landmark, if finds the best way possible – a Three Day long International Seminar on Jiu Jitsu from the living legend of Jiu Jitsu, Soke Richard Morris,10th Dan, United Kingdom along with the world renowned Jiu Jitsu masters Soke Erik Karlsson, 10th Dan, Sweden and Soke Leif Hermansson,10th Dan, Sweden. This is the first time in the history of India that three Jiu Jitsu Grand Masters coming together to train with Indians.
From 14th to 16th of November 2008, Soke Morris, Soke Erik and Soke Leif will be in Navi Mumbai, to share their knowledge with Jiu Jitsu students. Accompanying them will be Jiu Jitsu Senior Instructors and students from UK, Sweden, Norway, Latvia, Germany, Switzerland, Russia and Ireland. It’s a world of Jiu Jitsu in Navi Mumbai for three days.
Shihan V Dev Anand, internationally acclaimed Jiu Jitsu master from India will be the main force of the camp.
Experience the dynamic and secret techniques of Jiu Jitsu from the highly experienced world masters of Jiu Jitsu. The training with these great masters will enhance the knowledge of Professional Martial Arts Instructors, Security Personnel, Women, Men and Children.
For every student or enthusiast of any form of Martial Arts, these three days will be invaluable. The students will be oriented in small groups to facilitate direct interaction with the Sokes. After the lectures and interactions of three days, a live demonstration of Jiu Jitsu will be presented on Sunday, the 16th November, 2008. The event will be culminated with the releasing and distributing of a Souvenir, covering all facets of the art as well as having insightful articles and pictures. In short it will be a collector’s item.

Navi Mumbai, formerly known as New Bombay, is a twin city of Mumbai, India. It was developed in 1972, and is one of the largest planned cities in the world, with a total area of 344 km˛ and 163 km˛ under the jurisdiction of the Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC). Navi Mumbai lies on the mainland on the eastern seaboard of Thane Creek. The city limits stretch from Airoli near Thane in the north, to Uran in the south. The length of the city is almost the same as that of Mumbai. The Vashi and the Airoli Bridges connect Navi Mumbai to Mumbai. A new link between Nerul and Uran is under construction. The costliest and most developed areas of Navi Mumbai are Vashi and Nerul as a result Vashi is known as the king of Navi Mumbai while Nerul is considered as the queen of Navi Mumbai.Navi Mumbai has a population of 2,100,000 out of which 600,000 come from Nerul and 400,000 from Vashi, the remainder from Belapur, Kharghar and Koparkhairne and surrounding areas.
